Like You Do by Dirty Black Beans

After waking up from a tequila induced hangover, post a five band film session, meeting up with Dirty Black Beans the following morning was nothing short of a miracle. The band however were in high spirits and had such an infectious stirring vibe that we immediately felt cured. For the most part. The band, consisting of Tania Serrano (vocals), Lalo Melgar (guitar), Ivan Marquez (bass), and Jean Pierre Chaurand (drums), are not your typical run of the mill rockabilly band. Their unique jazz-a-billy compound style generate songs that are easy to listen to while still complex enough to understand. They share their vibrant music in their hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco where they continuously tour and keep the fifties genre alive. Trying to keep our stomachs in tact, we began to shoot. Encore Sessions presents, from a small-town restaurant in Guadalajara, the first half of Dirty Black Beans performance with their song “Like You Do”.
